OCALA, Fla. —
Today, the Stan McClain campaign announced that it has raised $31,900, showing strong, early support in the race to replace Rep. Dennis Baxley, who is running for the Florida Senate.
“We are very encouraged by the support we've received throughout the community,” said McClain, who has not drawn any opposition for this seat. “Our conservative message of economic growth and fiscal responsibility is resonating with the people in District 23.”
In addition to strong fundraising, McClain’s campaign is also bolstered by a long list of endorsements, from numerous Marion County elected officials and community leaders, including former Speaker of the House Larry Cretul and State Representative Charlie Stone.
McClain has announced a platform of keeping taxes low and making sure Marion County’s economic future is strong. He emphasizes that his experience as a small businessman and local elected official make him uniquely qualified to take the values of hard work and freedom to Tallahassee.
